Farmer's Market
We are making the most of living where we do and the local farmer's market. This past Sunday we got 10 ct. shrimp from the gulf and some red snapper. The vendor said it is the first that she has sold in the past three months due to the oil spill. I am happy they are starting to turn things around again. Here are some photos of tonights lovely meal.

Why I miss Lawrence
because you drive through town and you see signs like this. I don't see that in Flower Mound. No way!
because the last week of every July you are doing this. It always makes you appreciate a/c.
beacause you can get some of the best food at insane prices. You see here we are already training Brett on how to survive when he leaves for KU.

A dog's Life
Jeff and I always wonder what Kozmo does during the day when we are away. Well, last Friday Jeff had a rare day off, alone. He captured this photo of dog entertainment that Kozmo alerted him to. So the answer is, this is what Kozmo does, watches for ducks and squirrels on our fence all day when we are away.

December in a nutshell
Christmas day we awoke to a WHITE CHRISTMAS! This is what our white Christmas looked like in North Texas.
We took a road trip out to the country to get photos of this spectacular site. It was amazing!
The snow was Kozmo's favorite Christmas present. What more could a furry guy ask for?
Brett was my Christmas helper this year and we took full advantage of our time off to make holiday goodies for our friends and family (and some for ourselves too).
On Christmas day we picked the fruits of our labor. After another year of babying our lemon tree it gave us these gifts. We got them off the tree just before the freeze.
